DSP Engineer/Applied Scientist @ Apple

Ph.D., Electrical and Computer Engineering

Carnegie Mellon University

My research interest lies at the intersection of ML/AI, wireless sensing and embedded systems.

Prior to joining Apple, I completed my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Prof. Anthony Rowe. I was previously affiliated with WiseLab and Cylab at CMU. My dissertation focused on applying machine learning and artificial intelligence on active acoustic systems to sense people, space and location.

While pursuing my PhD, I had worked as a research and development intern at Texas Instruments in 2015, and participated in the DARPA Spectrum Collaboration Challenge (SC2) as the team lead of CMU in 2017. I was also part of the Terraswarm Research Center from 2013-2017, and part of the CONIX Research Center in 2018.
